Following opening remarks by President NAGATA, Professor Terry gave a presentation outlining the University of Queensland's profile, strengths, international partnerships, and research capabilities. The University of Tsukuba then introduced its initiatives, including the proposed establishment of the Tsukuba Institutes for Research, Education, Culture and Sports (T-REX), the Campus-in-Campus (CiC) initiative, double and joint degree programs, and social impact initiatives.
In the discussion, both universities reaffirmed the importance of further strengthening and strategically advancing comprehensive collaboration in the areas of research, education, and student exchange.
