President NAGATA Attends the First Workshop of the NTU-UGA-UT Trilateral Center
On April 27, President NAGATA Kyosuke and Vice President and Executive Director for Research ENDO Yasunori participated in the first workshop of the NTU-UGA-UT Trilateral Center, held at Université Grenoble Alpes (UGA) in France, a partner institution under the Campus-in-Campus initiative.
Established in 2024 under an agreement among National Taiwan University (NTU), Université Grenoble Alpes (UGA), and the University of Tsukuba (UT), the Trilateral Center aims to generate academic and societal impact through collaborative research and educational initiatives. It promotes interdisciplinary and cutting-edge activities across a wide range of fields.
During their stay, the delegation visited Institut Néel, which is affiliated with the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS), as well as the startup company Diamfab. A tree-planting ceremony was also held at the Dominique Villars Botanical Garden on the UGA campus, where a paulownia tree was planted to commemorate the friendship and sustainable partnership among the three universities.
This visit further strengthened the partnership among the University of Tsukuba, Université Grenoble Alpes, and National Taiwan University, and is expected to lead to further developments in interdisciplinary research and academic exchange.
